Megan H., Glossop — £20,000 Subscriber Draw winner.

Megan Holt, a social worker from Glossop, was in the middle of her shift when her phone rang. She slipped out to her car to take the call privately, and within seconds, her routine workday turned into something she’ll talk about for years.

She’d only gone and become one of our latest winners of The Birthday Draw, taking home an incredible £20,000!

“I just thought ‘Is this real? Is this AI?’” she laughed. “Things like this never happen to me!”

STARSTRUCK... AND £20,000 RICHER!

As the call continued, Megan started to clock who she was actually speaking to. On the other end of the line was Kate Garraway, someone Megan had become a fan of after watching her on The Traitors.

“All I have to say is wow,” Megan said. “I still can’t believe it!”

THE WOMEN BEHIND THE WIN

Having qualified as a social worker in 2024, Megan recently joined New Beginnings, a social care charity where she supports families working through the child protection system. It’s the kind of job most people couldn’t do. Megan does it, and still finds time for the gym four days a week!

When the news finally sank in, there was only one person she needed to call. She FaceTimed her boyfriend. After meeting at university and spending six years together, now sharing a home, the two of them celebrated from different screens, completely in the moment.

“This is just amazing!” Megan said. “Never did I think it would happen to me.

HOW MEGAN FOUND THE BIRTHDAY DRAW

Megan first spotted The Birthday Draw through an ad on her phone, and like many players, it was the £1 entry that stopped the scroll. Megan took a punt on it and signed up as a subscriber earlier this year, giving her access to our exclusive Subscriber Draw and additional opportunities to win.

When it came to creating her entry, Megan chose her own birthday as the date, the letter M for her name, and in true celebratory fashion, pink as her colour.

It turned out to be a decision that paid off. As part of our Subscriber Draw, Megan was selected as one of The Birthday Draw's latest £20,000 winners.

“This is so unexpected,” she said. “I still can’t believe it!”

WHAT IS THE BIRTHDAY DRAW?

The Birthday Draw is a weekly prize draw brought to you by ITV and Global, giving players across the UK the chance to win life-changing cash prizes, including a £1 million* jackpot.

To enter, you simply choose a date, pick an initial, and select a colour to create your own personalised entry. Each additional colour gives you another entry and more chances to win, with entries starting from just £1.

GREECE, ITALY, AND A NEW SET OF KEYS

Megan and her partner are already planning a luxury holiday, with Greece and Italy sitting at the top of their list. Megan is also eyeing up a new car - something she can now sort stress-free.
